Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, was born on August 18, 1993, in Accra, Ghana. He attended the University of Ghana, where he studied Economics before pursuing music full-time.

KiDi’s breakthrough came after winning MTN Hitmaker Season 4 in 2015, which earned him a recording contract with Lynx Entertainment.
