Biography
BNXN, born Daniel Etiese Benson, is a Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, songwriter and record producer known for blending Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall and pop into a melodic, emotionally expressive sound. Formerly known as Buju, he has become one of the leading voices of Nigeria’s contemporary music scene through hit collaborations, acclaimed solo projects and a distinctive vocal style.

Career highlights
BNXN began releasing music independently in 2018, but his breakthrough arrived with “Spiritual” featuring Zlatan. He gained even wider attention after the remix of “L’enu” with Burna Boy and later signed a short-term deal with Burna Boy’s Spaceship Records. In 2022, he officially changed his stage name from Buju to BNXN (pronounced Benson) to establish a more distinctive global identity.
