Biography
Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla on March 5, 1988, is a Ghanaian award-winning reggae and dancehall artist. He was born and raised in Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra, Ghana.
Stonebwoy rose to fame after winning the Best International Act: Africa at the BET Awards in 2015, which brought him global recognition. Known for his powerful voice and conscious lyrics, he blends reggae, dancehall, and afrobeats in his music.
He is the founder of the Burniton Music Group and has released several successful projects, including albums like “Epistles of Mama” and “Anloga Junction.” Over the years, he has collaborated with both African and international artists, building a strong global presence.
Stonebwoy has also received multiple awards, including Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. His fanbase, known as Bhim Nation, continues to support him as one of Africa’s leading reggae/dancehall acts.
