The Accra High Court has granted bail to Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, in his ongoing extradition case linked to alleged cybercrime investigations.

According to reports, the court granted him bail in the sum of GH¢30 million with two justified sureties. The ruling marks a major development in the high-profile case that has attracted nationwide attention in Ghana. 

Reports say Abu Trica had spent several months in custody after being arrested in December 2025 following extradition proceedings connected to allegations from United States authorities. 

His lawyer, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, confirmed the bail decision in a social media post, describing it as an important step in the legal process. 

Despite the bail ruling, legal proceedings and extradition discussions surrounding the case are still ongoing.
