Oriadé is Davido’s sixth studio album and marks a new chapter in his career, which he calls his “crown era.” The album’s title comes from the Yoruba words “ori” (head or destiny) and “adé” (crown), symbolizing purpose, destiny, and stepping into one’s rightful place.
The 13-track project returns to Davido’s African musical roots, blending Afrobeats, Highlife, Afro R&B, and Afrofusion. It features collaborations with Black Sherif, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Llona, Mayorkun, Fola, NO11, JAZZWRLD, and GL_Ceejay, showcasing both established stars and rising talents.
With Oriadé, Davido aims to celebrate African culture and sound while continuing to expand Afrobeat’ global influence.
